Setting up recurring payments for businesses on VitalSwap is simple. Follow these steps to automate your payouts:

Step 1: Log in to your VitalSwap Business Account

First, log in to your VitalSwap Business account.

Step 2: Create a Sub-account

Navigate to the Subaccounts tab. Create a new sub-account for the individual you wish to pay regularly (e.g., an employee, contractor, freelancer, or vendor).

Step 3: Navigate to Payouts

After entering the recipient’s information, proceed to the Payouts section on your dashboard and select Sub-account Payout.

Step 4: Configure Payout Details

Once inside the Payouts section, complete the following:

  • Select the recipient: Choose the sub-account created in Step 2.
  • Set up wallets: Choose your preferred source wallet and the destination wallet (VitalSwap wallet or direct bank account).
  • Define Amount & Schedule: Set the recurring payout amount and configure your preferred payment schedule.

Note: By default, payouts are scheduled monthly at 09:00 UTC, but you can customize this timing based on your business needs.

Rules:

  1. Minimum Naira payout is 100 Naira
  2. Business wallet is debited of the first payout instruction amount immediately
  3. Business is notified every time the payout instruction is processed
  4. Individual’s account is created automatically and they can login by resetting their password
  5. Business has to manually pause recurring payout instruction, otherwise payout will continue
